Pumper 12 Retired December 2008 |

Pumper 12 was obtained from Carmel-Clay(IN) Fire Department in 1996. The apparatus was refurbed at RPI in Tipton. This
truck also came with our first set of Hurst extrication equipment. The truck details were: Length 28'5" Width 9'6" Heighth 8' 10"
Pump 100 GPM Tank 750 Gallon. This piece served the community well for 12 years. This truck is available for purchase. |

Tanker 12-4 Retired 1996 |

Tanker 12-4 was dontated by Eli Lilly Company. The truck came a different color and needed some work to make it a fire truck. Members took on the task of refurbishing the truck. A lot of sanding and painting later, the 1800 gallon tanker truck was placed into service. The truck was later replaced by our current Tanker 12. |

Brush 12-3 Retired July 2004 |

|
Brush 12-3 was replaced by Truck 12 in July of 2004. The truck, a 1977 GMC, carried a pump and 300 gallon water tank. Fire personnel used a front mounted stand to operate two hose lines when fighting field fires. Due to safey concerns, this feature was not part of the design for the new field firefighting vehicle. The truck was sold to a citizen of Tippecanoe County (IN), where it is used as a personal vehicle. |

Rescue 12-5, a 1977 Dodge Maxivan, began its service to Perry Township in the late 70's as an ambulance. Over the years, the unit was no longer needed, due to the county buying new ambulances. The unit began to sit and not be used by the Colfax Community EMS. The Fire Department took the ambulance back over in about 1996 and began using it as a rescue unit, carrying the jaws of life. The unit was retied in 2001, when the new Rescue 12 as purchased from NEw York. This unit was dontated to a VFD in Southern Indiana. |
