Every well said about Mike aka "Papaw". It's funny when I'm talking about Mike to people and I call him Mike and they look at me with this funny look and I stop and say "sorry I mean Papaw". I'm proud to call him my father. My children and I think he is the best. He is my hero and the greatest man in my book. Keep up the great work we love you!!!

I think that Mike Padgett is truely a dedicated father, family man, and firefighter. He is well known to all of the township and would not hesitate to help any person in need. He is a man you can go to with any problemand he will give u great advise or help u solve the problem in the most efficient manner. He is to be proud of his daughter and her accomplishments also.

Great job Papaw even though I know him best as my brother-in-law! Any one who has ever watched him knows his wonderful "Mcgiver" type abilities, as well as, reat attitude to get the job done at all odds. His abilities are unmatched by anyone and brings so much to the department in leadership from his many experiences and willingness to serve. Well done brother Mike!

25 yr member of Perry Twp Vol FD in Vanderburgh County, also Dept. Treas., just crusing the net looking for other Perrys in indiana, because we keep getting request for run reports that are not our's, insurance companys don't even know were clients fires or accidents happen, hang in there we will.
